Avora Audio ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

We only collect the minimum data necessary to operate our store and deliver your purchases:

• Contact information — name and email address, to create your account, deliver your purchase confirmation, and provide customer support.
• Purchase-related data — product name, amount paid, transaction ID, and date of purchase.
• Billing name and address — required by our payment processors for fraud prevention and compliance.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, social security numbers, health information, or any data beyond what is listed above.

2. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your full card number — card processing is handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal, which are PCI-DSS compliant. We never see or store your card details.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
• We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral ad targeting, or third-party analytics on this website.

3. Plugin Analytics (Opt-in)

Our VST/AU plugins include an optional anonymous analytics system. You will be asked to opt in the first time you open the plugin. No data is collected until you explicitly click "Allow Analytics".

When enabled, the following non-personally-identifiable data is sent to our analytics system:

• System info: Operating system version, CPU model, installed RAM, DAW host name, plugin build number.
• Usage data: Which parameters you interact with (name and value), session duration, which features are enabled.
• Crash reports: Error type and build number if the plugin crashes.
• UI preferences: Window size, dark mode setting.

This data:

• Is entirely opt-in — you are asked before any data is collected, and you can change your decision at any time in Settings → Analytics inside the plugin.
• Contains no audio content. We never record, process, or transmit any audio signal.
• Does not contain your name, email address, or any directly identifiable information. Your license serial is hashed (SHA-256) before transmission.
• Is stored securely in our analytics database and is never sold or shared with third parties.
• Is used solely to improve plugin performance, fix bugs, and prioritise new features.

To withdraw consent: open the plugin in your DAW, click Settings, and toggle Send Analytics off. This immediately disables all tracking for that plugin instance.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To process your payment and fulfill your order.
• To deliver download links for purchased products.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely. We use Stripe and PayPal for payment processing — both of which maintain industry-standard security certifications. We retain purchase records for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Opt out of any non-essential data collection at any time.
